Branding & Website
Sinful Succulence
Gourmet Dessert
The founder came to Magva Designs ready to compete not just locally, but at a level that matched the quality already inside her kitchen. She needed a brand that could hold that ambition.
The Problem
Before we worked together, the business was operating without a cohesive visual identity. No defined look, no consistent voice, and no digital presence to anchor the brand in the minds of its customers.
The quality of the desserts was already there. But the brand wasn’t communicating it.
The goal was clear: build a brand from the ground up that positions Sinful Succulence not just as a home-based dessert business, but as a gourmet destination worth seeking out.
The Approach
We opened with a full brand strategy session to uncover Sinful Succulence’s positioning. Its personality, its ideal customer, and the emotional experience the brand needed to create before a single cookie was tasted.
From that foundation, we developed a complete brand identity, a visual system built around elegance, warmth, and quiet confidence.
The work expanded into a full website design and build, social media assets, and copywriting. A complete brand ecosystem, built to work together. Every touchpoint was designed to feel like the same brand speaking in the same voice.
The Outcome
The brand now looks and communicates like the gourmet dessert business it has always been. Customers encounter it online and already understand the quality before the first order.
More than that, the founder stepped into the launch with a brand system she can actually use. This is what local business branding done right looks like. Not just a logo, but a complete identity built to grow.
What I love most is that they offer a great variety of flavors, so there’s something for everyone. My personal favorites are the Red Velvet and the Biscoff cookie, both are rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying without being overwhelming.
For someone who doesn’t usually reach for cookies, this one was a surprisingly good experience.”
Frequently Asked Questions
I'm just starting out, is it too early to invest in branding?
Honestly?
Starting out is one of the best times to invest in your brand. When you build your foundation right from the beginning, you grow into your brand instead of outgrowing it.
A clear brand story and a strong visual identity from day one means you show up with confidence, attract the right clients sooner, and avoid the costly process of rebranding a year or two down the line. You don’t need to be big to deserve a brand that looks and feels like you mean it.
How long does each project take?
It depends on the scope, but here’s a general guide:
- Ruby Essentials typically takes 3–5 weeks.
- Scarlet Signature runs 6–10 weeks.
- Crimson Elite varies based on what’s included and will be outlined clearly in your custom proposal.
Timelines are also shaped by how quickly feedback and content are provided. The more prepared you are going in, the smoother and faster we move.
How much do your services cost?
Pricing is shared during our discovery call or inquiry process, as each project is scoped based on your specific needs.
What I can tell you is that my packages are designed to offer genuine value. You’re not just paying for deliverables, you’re investing in strategy, story, and a brand built to last.
If you’re curious about whether we’re a good fit before committing to a call, feel free to send me a message and I’ll give you a general idea.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. I understand that investing in your brand is a significant decision, and I want it to feel accessible. Payment plans are available and will be discussed during our discovery call. Typically, projects are split into two or three milestone-based payments so you always know what’s coming and when.
How many clients do you take on at a time?
I intentionally keep my roster small. Typically two to three active projects at a time.
Every client gets my full attention, my best thinking, and work I’m genuinely proud to put my name on. If I’m fully booked when you reach out, I’ll let you know and add you to my priority waitlist so you’re first in line when a spot opens.
Can I start with branding now and add a website later?
Absolutely! And it’s actually a great approach. Getting your brand strategy and visual identity in place first means that when we do build your website, every design decision already has a strong foundation to stand on.
Many of my clients start with Ruby Essentials and return for Scarlet Signature when they’re ready. I keep your brand files and know your story well, so picking up where we left off is seamless.
Can I come to you if I already have a brand but just need a website?
Yes, with one caveat.
I’ll want to review your existing brand before we begin. A website is only as strong as the brand behind it, and for me to design and build something that truly reflects you, I need to understand your visual identity, your voice, and your story.
If your existing brand is solid, we get to work. If there are gaps, I’ll flag them and we can discuss whether a light brand refresh makes sense before we move into the website.
Is copywriting included in the website design & build?
Copywriting is not automatically included in the Website Design & Build service, that’s a standalone add-on available through Crimson Elite package.
For the website design and build, I provide copywriting guidance. If writing your own copy feels overwhelming, adding copywriting to your package means it’s handled by a trusted collaborator who already knows your brand inside and out, no separate briefing required.
What if I'm not sure what I need yet?
That’s completely okay, and honestly, more common than you’d think.
You don’t need to have it all figured out before you reach out. Send me a message, tell me a little about where you are and where you want to go, and we’ll have a conversation to figure out the right path together. Sometimes the most important thing is just starting the conversation.
